State Hotel, Gwalia, Western Australia

The State Hotel was built in 1903 by the Western Australian government at a cost of $60,000.  The first hotel to be built and owned by any Australian government.  The building was later used as the administration offices of The Sons of Gwalia mining company following its closure as a hostelry.
