Every year the wonderful town of Bridgetown in South West Australia plays host to a two-day music festival in November. Blues artists play at a number of venues over the weekend and the festival attracts people from miles away as well as locals.
This year, 2017, was the 25th Anniversary of the festival.
There are plenty of other activities happening and, indeed, the main street is closed off to traffic on the Saturday so that stalls selling all manner of goods and food can take precedence.
There is also an art competition where artists are free to demonstrate their skill by painting wooden cut-outs of guitars which are then displayed to the world and judged.
I was delighted when my offering was voted First Prize. Here it is for your viewing.
